Comp Colts Volleyball Team earn silver in P.A>

The Comp Colts Volleyball Team ended their season with a silver medal this past weekend at 5A Boys provincials in Prince Albert. 

‘On Friday, the Colts dropped their opening match to Saskatoon Holy Cross in three sets before raddling off straight set wins over Saskatoon Aden Bowman and the host PA Carlton.  On Saturday morning the Colts defeated Regina LeBoldus to end the round robin at 3-1 and 1st place in Pool A. 

Playoffs on Saturday started with the Colts taking a three-set win over Warmen (25-16, 21-25, 15-9) in the quarters. The semi saw some intense rallies with great hits, some big blocks and digs when the Colts took on Regina Winston Knoll beating them two straight (25-23,25-22). In the final the Colts battled hard but lost the final to PA St. Mary’s in three sets (19-25, 25-22, 14-16) to narrowly miss out on a 3 peat as provincial champions.
