Small Aircraft Landed on Trans- Canada Highway in Swift Current

Swift Current Fire Department crews were dispatched to a small aircraft that had landed on Trans-Canada Highway No. 1, within City limits, in the early hours of June 21, at 1:24 AM. The plane experienced electrical system issues and made a controlled landing on the highway, near the east commercial area.

There were no injuries at this scene. The aircraft was removed from the highway, shortly after the incident.
