Sidewalk work restricts traffic to one lane on Central Ave North

The City of Swift Current wishes to advise residents and motorists that there will be sidewalk replacements starting on Monday, May 16, in the 300 block of Central Avenue North, which will result in lane restrictions for approximately two (2) weeks to accommodate the work.

The work zone is within the 300 block of Central Avenue North from Herbert Street to Sidney Street, on the west sidewalk. The map of the work zone is published to the Construction Updates page on the City’s website at http://www.swiftcurrent.ca/construction.

“Traffic will be restricted to the east lane for a couple of weeks, but there will be signage to guide people through the construction,” explains Mitch Minken, General Manager of Infrastructure & Operations.
