Vancouver artist and Wymark native’s exhibition at Art Gallery of Swift Current

The public reception for the art exhibition LyleXOX: They. Mine. Yours… at the Art Gallery of Swift Current attracted a very large audience, Sept. 30.

The exhibition features the work of Vancouver-based mixed media artist Lyle XOX, who grew up as Lyle Reimer in the hamlet of Wymark near Swift Current. His work has attracted international attention, and his artistic process involves using his own face as a canvas to create elaborate facial sculptures for which he uses a variety of discarded materials. The exhibition will be showing at the Art Gallery of Swift Current until Nov. 15.
