Police seeking information in home invasion and shooting

On July 30, 2023, at about 1130 p.m., police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 200 block of Stafford Bay North, Lethbridge, where three unknown males forced in the front door of the residence and assaulted the home occupants. The unknown subjects carried weapons inside the residence and during the assault against the home occupants, one of the unknown males discharged a firearm inside the residence. Following the assault, the three males left the area in a newer model grey coloured SUV. Lethbridge Fire and EMS attended to the victims and they were treated on scene for minor injuries.

The unknown subjects were described as male, in their 20s or 30s, wearing darker clothing and face coverings.

Police believe the incident was targeted and there is no on-going threat to public safety. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who have information, to please come forward. Call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 23017999.
