Two men are facing drug trafficking charges following an investigation by ALERT Lethbridge.

On April 25, 2023, police executed a search warrant, with assistance from the Lethbridge Police Service, on a home in the Glendale neighbourhood. The following was seized as evidence:

• 131.2 grams of methamphetamine;

• 52 grams of cocaine;

• 350 grams psilocybin mushrooms;

• 1 gram of fentanyl;

• 70 packages of black market cigarettes; and

• $1,245 cash.

ALERT also seized a conducted energy weapon, two replica firearms and numerous rounds of ammunition.

“We had reason to believe that these two people were selling drugs out of their home. Anytime we are able to take drugs off our streets is a win for residents in the neighbourhood, as well as the community,” said Staff Sgt. Trevor Sheppard, ALERT Lethbridge.

The drugs have an estimated street value of $20,000.

James Gladden, 29-years old of Lethbridge, is facing possession charges, as well as unauthorized possession of a weapon. Adam Sebok, 29-years-old of Lethbridge is facing similar trafficking related charges. Both have been released from custody with multiple conditions as they await their next court

Members of the public who suspect drug or gang activity in their community can call local police, or contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers is always anonymous.
