Fort Macleod RCMP arrest and charge male for property crimes

Between Nov. 6, 2022 and Dec. 1, 2022, Fort Macleod RCMP received several complaints of break and enter/theft from local business owners. Fort Macleod RCMP, along with assistance from CP Rail Police, conducted an investigation and determined that a significant amount of steel had been stolen from CP Rail property as well as a local business.

Patrick William Jenkins (46), a resident of Fort Macleod, Alta., has been charged with:

• Theft Under $5000 x 3

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 2

• Drive Uninsured Motor Vehicle

• Trespass on rail property

Jenkins was held for a Judicial Interim Release hearing and released for court on Dec. 14, 2022, in Fort Macleod Provincial Court.
