Brooks RCMP on scene at serious motor vehicle collision

Brooks RCMP advise that they are currently on scene (4:15 p.m. July 4) at a serious motor vehicle collision involving a semi truck and a pick-up truck. At this time, the highway is impassable between Highway 876 and Range Road 12-4 at Highway 1.  

The RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is attending and traffic is expected to be disrupted for 3 hours. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area or find an alternate route. An update will be sent when available.
