On July 9, 1-3 p.m. learn how to bead the Métis way. This specific type of beading originates from the mixture of two cultures: the flower embroideries of French-Canadian nuns and First Nations beading. The goal with the Métis Beading Workshop is to educate people about a unique culture that has been around for hundreds of years.

Staff at the Police Point Park Nature Centre encourage the people of Medicine Hat region to become more involved with Indigenous activities and programs.
