Two men charged in downtown Lethbridge business break in

Lethbridge Police have arrested and charged two males in connection with a break and enter during the early morning hours Christmas Day at a downtown business.

On Dec. 25, 2021 at approximately 4:10 a.m. three subjects smashed the front door window at King of Trade along the 300 block of 5 Street South. Once inside the culprits stole headphones and jewelry. Two subjects were arrested later in the day and the third subject has not yet been located. 

James Lee Morning Bird, 20, of Lethbridge, is charged with shopbreaking and commit theft. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 9.

Dacota Bruce Ray Oka, 30, of Lethbridge, is charged with shopbreaking and commit theft. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 29.
