Brooks RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying suspect in second robbery

On Nov. 11 at approximately 9:18 p.m., the Brooks RCMP received a 911 call of a robbery that had just occurred at store located at the 100  block of 2 Street West in Brooks, Alta.

Brooks RCMP attended the scene and determined that a lone male suspect wearing a white facemask with two small eyeholes allegedly entered the store carrying a black reusable bag. There was a lone employee in the store at the time of the robbery. The male suspect told the employee he had a weapon in his bag and demanded money before fleeing the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. It is believed that the male got into a near by vehicle.

The Brooks RCMP made extensive patrols; however, the suspect was not located.

No one was physically injured during this incident.

Description of the suspect:

·         Male

·         Approximately 6’ tall with large build

Last seen wearing black and white stripped sweater, gloves, a black hat and white facemask with two eyeholes in it.

Brooks RCMP’s investigation into this incident is ongoing with the assistance of the Brooks RCMP General Investigation Section.
