Bridge replacement Southeast of Coaldale scheduled for February 6

Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, February 6 on a bridge replacement in Lethbridge County. The bridge, a culvert structure located on Range Road 19-4 approximately 9 kilometres southeast of the Town of Coaldale, has reached the end of its useful life. It was identified for replacement under the County’s annual bridge replacement program, funded through the 2022 Capital Budget.

A portion of Range Road 19-4 south of Highway 512 and north of Township Road 9-4 will be closed for the duration of the project, with access for local traffic only. Motorists are asked to observe all construction signage and be aware of crews working in the area. The project is expected to be completed within two weeks, weather permitting.
