On Aug. 31 at approximately 3:30 p.m., Claresholm RCMP entered in to a theft investigation after obtaining information that a male was in possession of stolen farm equipment.
RCMP obtained a search warrant and searched the residence, which is located south east of Claresholm. As a result of this search, RCMP located numerous items which had been reported as stolen, some of which include:
• Dirt bike
• Industrial sized weed whacker
• A rifle
Some other items located during the search were:
• Several prohibited weapons
• Suspected fentanyl
Jaden Ross Vincent (26), a resident of Claresholm, was arrested and has been charged with the following offences:
• Possession of stolen property obtained by crime under $5000.00 (x4)
• Possession of a prohibited weapon
• Unauthorized possession of a firearm
• Trafficking of a controlled substance
After a judicial hearing, Vincent was released on conditions and will be appearing in Fort McLeod Provincial court on Sept. 21, 2022.
