Albertans are finally realizing what electing a Reform Party is like and why you shouldn’t. Lougheed’s energy minister Bill Dickie was a brother in-law of one of my uncles, and the MLAs I got to know taught me to never trust a Reformer and they were right.
They claimed it was easy to tell the difference. The true conservatives will collect proper royalties and taxes and run this province properly like Lougheed and his MLAs did, while the Reformers will help their rich friends steal our oil and tax wealth in an effort to buy votes and force the people into a lot more privatization like Klein did. It can’t be any easier than that. Lougheed did it right and Alaska and Norway are also.
