Bridge closures begin in September for Chaplin St. E and for 13th Ave NE

The City of Swift Current would like to notify residents and motorists about the construction taking place in September affecting two city bridges, resulting in a street closures and detours to accommodate the work. 

• Chaplin Street Bridge Closure: Sept. 6 – 9

• 13th Ave Bridge Closure: Sept. 12 – 16

The Chaplin St bridge will be closed due to warranty work and 13th Ave Bridge will be closed due to maintenance on the expansion joints.

Mitch Minken, General Manager of Infrastructure and Operations, states, “These projects are part of our Bridge Rehabilitation Program. We appreciate everyone’s patience and caution during this traffic disruption.”
