Swift Current Jr Sundogs Girls 16U Black finish top 4 at Sask Cup 1

The Swift Current Jr Sundogs Girls 16U Black team travelled to Warman this past weekend to compete in Sask Volleyball’s Sask Cup 1.

The girls, coached by Darren Lehman and Shawn Fraser, won all three games in pool play on Saturday, placing them 1st overall in their pool.

They went on to win their crossover match which elevated the Sundogs Black team into Tier 1. Sunday, the girls won their quarter final, pushing them into the top 4.

The team then dropped the semi final match in a close three sets and went on to play for Bronze, ultimately dropping the final game, again in a tight 3 sets. The Swift Current Jr Sundogs Girls 16U Black team ended the weekend 4th of 36 teams in attendance.
