Nanton RCMP investigate bomb threat

On June 7, at approximately 10:18 a.m., Nanton RCMP were dispatched to a report of a bomb threat at J.T Foster High School. A complete search of the school revealed nothing suspicious. The school had been evacuated and students did not return for the day.

Investigation revealed there was no imminent threat and the phone number was associated to someone in Edmonton

Nanton RCMP, with assistance from Edmonton Police Service, continue to investigate.
