One female has been remanded into custody and warrants have been granted for the arrest of a male suspect in relation to a theft of motor vehicle and robbery that took place in the City of Brooks on March 2.
Following an investigation a 31-year-old male from Cypress County is wanted by the Brooks RCMP.
Travis Seitz (31) of Cypress County is wanted for the following offences:
· Robbery
· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00
· Operation of a motor vehicle while prohibited
· Fail to comply with a probation order
Travis Seitz is described as:
· Light complexion
· Dark brown hair
· 5’8” tall
· 181 lbs
At this point in time Seitz whereabouts are unknown but it is believed he may be seriously injured as a result of the original motor vehicle collision in the ditch. Seitz has ties to the Brooks and Medicine Hat area.
During the investigation a second suspect, a 29-year-old female from Brooks was arrested on March 2, 2022.
Crystal Bigstone (29) of Brooks has been charged with:
· Robbery
· Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000.00
Following a judicial interim release hearing, Bigstone has been remanded into custody and is next scheduled to appear on March 7, 2022 at 09:30 a.m., in Medicine Hat Provincial Court.
The Brooks RCMP has recovered the stolen pick up truck.
