Alberta RCMP Major Crimes say suspicious death near Willow Creek was a homicide of Lethbridge male

RCMP Update

On March 25, 2023, at approximately 10:19 a.m., Fort McLeod RCMP and Blood Tribe Police were dispatched to a report of blood on the Healy Bridge, located on Highway 511 near Willow Creek. Officers attended and located a deceased male. 

On March 28, 2023, an autopsy was completed on the deceased and the death has been deemed a homicide. The deceased has been identified as a 32-year-old male resident of Lethbridge.

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes continue their investigation and are requesting the public’s assistance. They are asking for any dash cam video from Highway 511 near the Healy Bridge, between Highway 509 and Highway 2, on March 25, between the hours of 3 a.m. and 9 a.m.
