Swift Current was the location of one of three anti-racism youth leadership workshops in the province organized by the Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan (MCoS) for 2017.

The Kiwanis Club of Swift Current will not continue any longer with the Spookerama dance for high-school students on Halloween, but the community organization will still be hosting the Spookerama dance for middle-year students.

The Main Street Swift Current program has once again been successful in attracting Provincial Grant funding for several local community projects.

Steenbergen nets goal number 50 in Broncos' win

In a packed Credit Union i-Plex on a Saturday night, the Swift Current Broncos snuck out a wild 3-2 win over the visiting Saskatoon Blades to stay in the race for second place in the East Division.

Graphic designer Brandon Wiebe is a long-time fan of the Swift Current Broncos, but it is an additional thrill for him whenever the team takes to the ice.

Swift Current resident Ethel Holderbein has even more admiration for the Queen after receiving three letters from the British monarch’s office.
