SCCHS Business Club concludes a busy year

The Swift Current Comprehensive High School (SCCHS) Business Club concluded a busy year on a high note when they hosted Premier Brad Wall at their final lunch and learn, June 8.

The City of Swift Current wishes to advise the public that 2017 tax notices have been completed, and property owners within the City should be receiving their notices by the end of June. The due date for payment is July 31, 2017 to avoid any penalty.

An unusual break-in at the Swift Current Mall occurred Monday night and the RCMP needs some assistance.

Planning of the Western Canada Summer Games (WCSG) is well under way with an expectation of more than 1,700 athletes and coaches representing 16 sports expected to compete from August 9-17, 2019.

The Saskatchewan Prairie Conservation Action Plan (SK PCAP) is pleased to coordinate Native Prairie Appreciation Week (NPAW) across the province of Saskatchewan and will be celebrated until June 24.

Join us on Thursday, June 22 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Kiwanis SK8 Park (located at Riverdene Park) and learn new skateboarding skills, watch other skaters or show off your talent.
