On December 31st 2016 Swift Current Rural RCMP and Southwest Regional Traffic Services Unit responded to a complaint east of Lac Pelletier Trail regarding a suspicious vehicle.

The 2017/2018 Community Support Grant applications are available starting January 3 through February 14 and can be picked up from the Community Services Division located at City Hall or found online at www.swiftcurrent.ca/grants. The application deadline for the Community Support Grant is February 14h at 4:30 p.m.

Late yesterday morning Swift Current Municipal RCMP located a 32-year-old male on a Canada wide warrant for numerous CDSA charges at a residence on the 300 block of Cowie Crescent in Swift Current, SK.

Swift Current RCMP said late yesterday an incident at a residence on the 300 block of Cowie Crescent in Swift Current concluded peacefully.

Anyone who has been in the Legion Hall in Swift Current in the last while will notice quite a change to the interior as a renovation has taken place over the past few months.
