Broncos make trade with Kootenay

The Swift Current Broncos have acquired 1999 born forward Max Patterson from the Kootenay ICE in exchange for goaltender Bailey Brkin and a conditional fifth round selection in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.

Please be advised that PCL Construction, on behalf of the City of Swift Current, will be performing a rehabilitation on the South Railway Street Bridge that will include removing and replacing the asphalt surface, installation of a waterproofing membrane, replacing expansion joints, and performing concrete repairs on the existing abutments, barriers, piers and deck.

Two Swift Current powerlifters won medals at their first provincial championship in only their first year of competition.

The demolition of the former Ashley Park school building is set to take place during September, after which the City of Swift Current will consult the community about the redevelopment of the site.
