Swift Current RCMP looking for suspects in theft

The Swift Current RCMP are looking for two suspects in regards to a theft at a Swift Current business.

Those who know firsthand will tell you that taking care of someone with Alzheimer's is a difficult and heartbreaking time.
Only those who have looked after someone with Alzheimer's know what it's like. It's difficult to know what to do or even know where to turn to ask questions about how to provide adequate care.

The Bright Beginnings Family Centre is hoping to become a hub for various agencies in Swift Current that provide programs and services to families in the community.

Swift Current residents who want to enjoy  fire pits in their back yards will have to pay a new fee to obtain a permit from the Swift Current Fire Department.

There are many stories that have been kept “under the covers.”

The first class of eight students was officially welcomed to the new Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN) program today in Swift Current with a presentation by representatives from Great Plains College, Cypress Health Region, the University of Regina, SIAST and the Ministry of Central Services.

Auditions will soon be held for the City’s Centennial Extravaganza and organizers are hoping to attract a wide range of people from all age categories, both male and female, to perform in what will be the kick-off to the City’s yearlong celebrations.

Adults who want to make a difference to protect children from sexual abuse will be able to learn how at workshops presented in Swift Current this fall.

As Prairie Post reported in June, Swift Current florist Poppy Parsons participated in the Professional Floral Design Evaluation in Las Vegas at the end of that month.
