Windscape back for 14th year

The SaskPower Windscape Kite Festival will soon be flying high again.

This summer, creative young writers can access free-of-charge writing workshops, where they can develop their creative writing skills with a local, professional writer.

The City of Swift Current and Tennis Saskatchewan have partnered together to host four tennis clinics this summer. This will be a great opportunity for community members to learn and improve their tennis skills.

At approximately 1 a.m. this morning (June 14), members from the Swift Current Municipal RCMP Detachment received a complaint of an item resembling a pipe bomb in the 400 block of Herbert Street East in Swift Current. 

If you want to learn more about gardening or if you enjoy gardening and want to hang out with others who share your interest, then the Swift Current Horticultural Society would like to hear from you.

The Swift Current Comprehensive High School (SCCHS) Business Club concluded a year of achievements with a lunch hour celebration, May 31.
