Please be advised that a temporary disruption to emergency outpatient services has been implemented at the Herbert and District Integrated Healthcare Facility during the following timelines:

Friday, January 20 at 5 p.m. to Monday, January 23 at 8 a.m.

During this period of time, emergency outpatient services will not be available at the facility.  Long term care services and acute inpatients will not be affected by this disruption of services.

As is always the case, residents are encouraged to call 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency and an ambulance will be immediately dispatched to provide assistance.  Non-urgent health related questions can be directed to the provincial HealthLine service by dialing 8-1-1. The nearest emergency department is located at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current.

Please find attached an informational poster that has been developed and posted at the facility to increase the public’s awareness of this brief temporary disruption of services.
