Private liquor retailers selected in rural Sask.

Successful proponents were selected through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process for the province’s 50 available retail liquor store opportunities.

Five new trustees took up their chairs at the first meeting of the Chinook School Division Board of Education after the recent school board election.

Changes proposed to Income Assistance programs will not be implemented as announced earlier this year, while the province proceeds to review and redesign its programs to better serve those in need.
