War medals stolen from Kindersley home

The Kindersley RCMP are asking for your help in solving the following crime:

Justice Minister and Attorney General Don Morgan has announced October 23-27, as the fourth annual Violence Prevention Week in Saskatchewan.

The Chinook School Division's transportation department is looking at ways to operate the bus fleet more efficiently due to budget constraints while at the same time implementing a right-sizing process to reduce operating and maintenance costs.

There are 30 fewer students enrolled in Chinook School Division for the 2017-18 school year.

Due to wildfire evacuation orders in the communities and surrounding areas, Burstall School, Leader Composite School and Haven Colony School will be closed on Wednesday, October 18 and until further notice.
