The Chinook School Division is completing the two-year process to replace outdated computer hardware in schools with easier to use Chromebooks.

On the heels of a year where $54 million fewer dollars were available to support students in Saskatchewan classrooms, the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF) has learned that school boards are being called on by the government to prepare for another round of cuts in the upcoming provincial budget. 

Under the guidance of Medical Health Officer Dr. David Torr, The Gull Lake Special Care Centre was placed under outbreak status due to the presence of respiratory illness on Jan. 17.

Please be advised that a temporary disruption to emergency outpatient services/acute inpatient admissions will be implemented at the Leader Hospital during the following timelines (issued 4:20 p.m. Sask. time):

An RCMP officer along with four others were transported to hospital after a collision between two vehicles.
