Medicine Hat College’s Jennifer Fleckenstein is used to giving and sacrificing in her job as student recruiter for Medicine Hat College (MHC) and member of the Campus Life Society, but she probably didn’t think she would be sacrificing her hair, albeit for a good cause.

The 50 Acts of College Campaign is a way the Medicine Hat College is trying to give back to the community.  The plan Oct. 27 is to help out those affected by cancer.

Medicine Hat College (MHC) will play host to delegates from across the country this November during the Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Energy Symposium.

Through two rounds of the 2015 PING CCAA Golf National Championships, hosted by the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades at Chilliwack Golf Club, the Niagara Knights men’s team and the Humber Hawks women have established themselves as the front-runners.

Round 1 of the PING CCAA Golf National Championship is in the books, and Connor O’Dell and Sonia Nagindas have moved to the top of the individual standings. There are also Medicine Hat College Rattlers in the hunt.

The Great Plains College SunDogs and the Millar College Edge men’s and women’s volleyball teams are set to go head-to-head in the tenth annual Battle of the Southwest to bring home the coveted Southwest Cup.
 

Achieving the required minimum scores through an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is one of several ways individuals may meet the English language proficiency requirement for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, Canadian citizenship and many post-secondary programs, including those offered at Great Plains College.
