Despite heavy enforcement and the risk of sizeable fines, it appears some motorists may be unaware of the rules of the road when they come toward a stopped school bus with its red lights flashing.

Centennial Park in Nobleford is about to get a makeover. As part of the Centennial Park Legacy Projects, there’s going to be a rebuild and additions to the park, which include Legacy Silhouette plagues with designer lighting, a Legion 24- by 24-foot Legacy pavilion, new sidewalks, special lighting along with park lighting, an irrigation system and landscaping.

With a continued commitment of funding from the Alberta government in the 2017-18 budget which was released in March, officials with the Alberta Rural Physician Action Plan (RPAP) are also focusing on an expanded mandate.

A paved highway and a fresh water supply will soon welcome visitors to the Castle Mountain Resort and the province’s new Castle River provincial parks.
