Broncos provide hope for fans after gutsy comeback

The Swift Current Broncos have had their hands full with the nationally ranked Regina Pats this season including a humbling 7-0 loss in Regina Friday. However, after what looked to be another Pats victory in Regina Sunday, Broncos' fans had something to cheer about.

The Governments of Canada and Alberta are working to make life better for residents of Medicine Hat by investing approximately $260,000 in joint funding to upgrade affordable housing units.

Nomination finalists for the coveted Tourism Saskatchewan Awards were announced February 23.

Art Gallery of Swift Current event on Feb. 24 cancelled

The evening reception and daytime programs at the Art Gallery of Swift Current which were planned for Friday, February 24th are cancelled.

Facing no challengers, Redcliff resident Pam Cursons has been acclaimed as the new Ward 1 trustee at the Prairie Rose School Division (PRSD) board table.

SEAWA hosting rural stewardship education forum

A second education forum hosted by the South East Alberta Watershed Alliance (SEAWA) will focus on rural stewardship March 10.

A Career and Technologies Foundation (CTF) partnership between Prairie Rose School Division and the Medicine Hat College is going so well, it will likely be expanded in the next school year.
