Volleyball hits SW Sask. high school hard courts

The SWAC senior girls’ volleyball league got underway with games hosted at Consul and Hodgeville on Sept 12.  Scores were as follows:
Location - Consul:


Consul over Maple Creek 25-17, 25-25
Maple Creek over Frontier 25-20, 17-25, 15-10
Frontier over Consul 25-17, 12-25, 15-7
Location - Hodgeville:
Hazlet over Gull Lake 25-13, 25-11
Hodgeville over Gull Lake 25-11, 15-25, 15-4
Hazlet over Hodgeville 25-23, 25-11
The Sept 19 games will be hosted at Eastendand Gull Lake.  Sept 26 games will be at Frontier and Maple Creek.  Start time is 5:00 p.m.

    SWAC will be hosting the cross country championships on Saturday, Sept 30 at Grasslands National Park near Val Marie.  Students from grades 4-12 are eligible to take part.  Racing will start at 11:00 a.m.  atthe Two Trees Day Use area in the West Block of the park.
