One would expect Kevin Peters, director of athletics and head coach for both the men’s and women’s basketball teams at Millar College of the Bible in Pambrun, to be exhausted and perhaps disappointed by the fact both of his teams lost their respective Prairie Athletic Conference basketball championships to the Prairie Bible Institute Pilots which were held at Swift Current’s O.M. Irwin Middle School gymnasium March 19.

On Saturday March 19, the Swift Current Composite High School badminton team attended tournaments in Gravelbourg and Leader.

Jr. SunDogs Black 14U Girls continued a successful season as they won the Division 2 Gold medal at the SaskCup tournament in North Battleford last weekend.

On Saturday March 12, the Swift Current Comp. High School badminton team attended their first tournaments in Ponteix and Rosetown.

The Premier Tech rink, skipped by Dean James, is the champions of the 2016 Winter Innovation Super League.

The community of Hodgeville is proud as they celebrate not one, but two provincial curling medals.

Swift Current club volleyball is alive and well — pure gold in fact. The two senior boys’ teams finished first in their respective Sask Cup tournaments last weekend.
