Swift Current Broncos General Manager & Head Coach, Mark Lamb, has announced that the club has signed defenceman Dominic Schmiemann to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

 

The Swift Current Broncos ran roughshod over the Western Hockey League in 1988-89, winning 55 games — 13 more than the next best major junior team in Canada — and going 12-0 in the playoffs to win the WHL title.

Swift Current Broncos defenceman Julius Honka, Brycen Martin and Brett Lernout are among 119 of the top NHL draft-eligible players from North America and Europe who have been invited to the 2014 NHL Scouting Combine which will be held May 26-31st in Toronto, ON.'

Broncos and Giants make deal

Swift Current Broncos General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb, has announced that the club has acquired 1996-born forward Luca Leone and a 6th round pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft from the Vancouver Giants in exchange for 1995-born defenceman Bobby Zinkan.

Two-time Olympians aren’t usually available in the Western Hockey League Bantam Draft.
