The Swift Current Broncos further solidified their playoff positioning on Tuesday night after a strong performance against the Brandon Wheat Kings in which Ryley Lindgren scored three times en route to a 5-2 Swift Current victory.

The Brooks Bandits (48-5-4) scored early and often, breaching double digits in a 10-2 road win over the Calgary Mustangs at Father David Bauer Arena in Calgary on Tuesday night.

Bandits suffer a rare loss at home to Canucks 3-1

The Brooks Bandits (47-5-4) lost in regulation at home for just the second time all season, and the first time since the team’s home opener in mid-September, dropping a 3-1 decision to the Calgary Canucks at the Centennial Regional Arena on Saturday night.

Jr. SunDogs girls’ team does well at tournament

The 14U Girls (Team Black) Swift Current Junior SunDogs finished in fourth place in the Tier 2 Division of the Sask. Cup No. 1 last weekend, which featured 29 teams from across the province.

The junior basketball league came to a close with the finals being held on Feb. 16.
