The Swift Current Broncos top line continued wreaking havoc across the WHL as Tyler Steenbergen scored four goals along with line mates Glenn Gawdin and Aleksi Heponiemi recording four points each in a 6-4 victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Friday night.

The SHSAA provincial cross country championships were held in Turtleford on October 14. 

The Swift Current Curling Club Innovation Credit Union Super League competes on Thursday evenings. League play began on October 12 and playoffs for the October to December section will begin on December 7 and conclude on December 21. The champion will be determined on December 21.

Last minute golfers are trying to squeeze in one more round of golf before mother nature brings weather too cold for golf garb.

The Brooks Bandits (7-4) trailed after the first and second periods, but scored twice in the span of 14 seconds and four times in the final three minutes of the game, en route to their third straight win, 4-1 over the Olds Grizzlys (4-6-1) on Monday afternoon at the Centennial Regional Arena.

Broncos beat Moose Jaw Oct. 8, stay perfect

The Swift Current Broncos took a quick trip eastbound to Moose Jaw where it was a battle for supremacy in the Eastern Conference picture as both teams entered the Sunday afternoon matinee with perfect 5-0-0 records.
