As Nov. 11. approaches, each additional year adds another chapter to the long history of service by our Canadian armed forces.

You could hear it in Gwen Cameron’s voice. You know, when someone asks you a question and you answer as if you can’t believe they’re not being sarcastic.

In September, the port of Coutts processed more than 17,700 vehicles and 12,800 commercial trucks for entry into Canada.

There are still a few days left for voters in Swift Current to decide who they will be supporting in the civic election on Oct. 24.

People in general are an apathetic bunch. It’s a lot easier to stick one’s head in the sand and let the world go by than to get active and involved, but Albertans need to get involved when it comes to government.

Canadians need a re-education about their debt

Canadians aren’t listening to the message from the Bank of Canada, nor the federal government. Spending continues to rise and what’s worse is that a recent poll shows individuals are relying on debt to fund their futures.

Procrastination is a bad word when it comes to anyone who is supposed to be working hard, smartly and effectively.
The Government of Alberta is procrastination in action... errr ... in-action.
