Airdrie RCMP have arrested a 41-year-old male from Kindersley, Sask. for uttering threats against a person and forcible confinement while driving through the Airdrie area.

Multi-sport club encouraging more triathlon

The sport chairs of the triathlon event at the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games have started the Swift Current Multisport Club to promote triathlon in southwest Saskatchewan.

Chronic wasting disease – a fatal, infectious central nervous system disease found in deer, elk, reindeer and moose – was confirmed in three new wildlife management zones in 2017.  

The Saskatchewan Party announced that 27,125 party members will be eligible to vote in the upcoming leadership election, scheduled for January 27.

Susan Amrud, Q.C., has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Labour Relations Board.  Her appointment takes effect on March 7, 2018.

Great Plains College has established a strategic partnership with the Office of the Treaty Commissioner (OTC) that will assist the college to promote reconciliation through education.
