The wind energy potential of southwest Saskatchewan is attracting the attention of independent power producers that are competing for contracts under SaskPower's procurement process for wind power generation.

The transition process from 12 regional health authorities to a single provincial health authority was completed in less than a year, but the transformation of Saskatchewan’s health system will take much longer.

Today (Dec. 5) Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart announced a targeted incentive program to encourage the continued sale of cultivated and formerly cultivated agricultural Crown land in Saskatchewan.

The provincial Take Home Naloxone program to provide free kits to those at risk of an opioid overdose has been expanded to the Cypress Health Region.

The Cypress Health Region provides a variety of services to individuals facing mental health challenges.
