Winners of the 12th Annual South East Alberta Regional Skills Competition which took place at Medicine Hat College April 25 appear below. First and second place advance to the Provincial Skills competition in Edmonton May 10-11.

The 18th annual Claresholm and District Health Foundation banquet, auction and dance held April 8 was another success.
Held at Stavely’s community centre, the event enticed 259 people to attend.

On Thursday, April 20, if conditions allow, Parks Canada fire management staff plan to light 2,200 hectares in the Eskerine Complex Prescribed Fire Area in Waterton Lakes National Park using aerial ignition devices.
