Farmers and ranchers who have received a letter from Alberta Environment and Parks regarding their water licences can be assured that none will have those water rights taken away, according to a statement sent to the Prairie Post on Friday afternoon (Feb. 23).

Women ages 50 to 74 — the group most at risk of developing breast cancer — will have local access to mammography services when Alberta Health Services’ Screen Test program arrives in the community this month.

Local and area residents are invited to attend a public meeting of the Palliser Health Advisory Council (HAC) on March 14.
