With a board motion, New Brigden School officially got back its Grade 4 programming for the 2017/18 school year, and will see the Kindergarten students become more integrated into the school in the coming year.

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is postponing at least 18 elective surgeries that had been scheduled to take place at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital (MHRH) tomorrow, Thursday, May 11. These postponements are due to the water quality concern that is impacting our ability to sterilize/reprocess medical devices at this site, and are in addition to the 62 postponements that took place on May 9 and May 10.

The new Emerald Lake Wildlife Fencing through the Crowsnest Pass was completed in the fall of 2016, and there has been a lot of feedback from local citizens and travellers passing through the area. Road Watch in the Pass, Miistakis Institute, and Y2Y, are hosting an Information Session about the new fencing project and future Highway/Wildlife Mitigation plans for Highway 3.
