For more than 20 years a Lethbridge business has been making and selling ammolite jewelry from local findings around the Lethbridge area.

Mark Anderson read aloud a story of a young First Nations student who learned to count to 30 by the number of times her teacher brought the strap down on her outstretched palms. Her sister learned to count to 50.

The International Dark-Sky Association (IDA) has recognized the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park (W-GIPP) with provisional status as a new International Dark Sky Park through their certification program.
