Maverick School's 12th annual Through our Eyes coffeehouse and art auction took place at the Lyric Theatre in Swift Current, May 2 and 3.

Both nights were sold out and raised a total of $24,460 for the school's arts and outdoor education programs. This was the highest amount ever raised by the event through a combination of ticket sales, business sponsorship, as well as the live and silent auction of art works by student and professional artists on both nights. The winners of each night's 50/50 draw also donated the money back to Maverick School. Each evening featured musical performances by talented Maverick students. Many of them were first year performers at the event, but long hours of preparation were evident from the polished performances by all 22 students.
