It will be exactly what Paul Israelson's striking concert poster done by  says: Songs of Faith.

The May 6 concert is being described as the "Prairie Spirit Chamber Singers performs sacred songs to bring us joy, hope, love, and a sense of growth and renewal as winter thaws into spring."
On Sunday May 6, the Singers will be performing at the Zion Mennonite Church (78-6th Ave NE) in Swift Current. Refreshments will follow.
Prairie Spirit Chamber Singers' Kortney Kehler-Shaw and Marcia McLean the choir director, of the group were extremely excited about the event. They work hard to make everything is just right.
They schedule their concerts back in the fall, they wanted to appeal to as many people as possible.
There will be 20 songs performed by the choir now into it's fifth year.
"We look at different aspects, check the libraries, pick title and see if they are adequate," explains McLean who adds they have been busy with concerts in November and March. "It's a matter of balance with different genres, spiritual and sacred music...diversity is key."
"People come from diverse backgrounds," adds Kehler-Shaw.
They have rehearsals once a week for an hour a week generally but they increase it  prior to a concert such as this one. The May 6 concert's tickets are on sale and can be purchased at Pharmasave. Adults are $15 and students $5.
