It can be a bit of an oxymoron to say not putting extra self pressure about doing something creative might be the best strategy for a singer/songwriter, but for Swift Current’s Keith Kitchen, it’s worked wonders.

Swift Current author to launch debut novel

Swift Current author Irene Bingham’s new novel will take readers on a journey of suspense and intrigue as a police officer from Alaska solves a cold case with help from a witness from Saskatchewan.

After a three-year hiatus, the Foremost Theatrical Society is returning to the stage this fall with its popular dinner theatre event, but interested audience members shouldn’t wait to get their tickets as they are selling out quickly.

The Empress Theatre is pleased to present the seventh annual Canadian Forces Memorial Film Festival Nov. 11-12 in Fort Macleod.

From Sherbrooke to Brooks documentary showing Oct. 9

Roger Parent’s debut feature-length documentary, From Sherbrooke to Brooks, produced at the NFB’s Canadian Francophonie Studio by Dominic Desjardins, will have its world premiere on Sunday,  Oct. 9, in both of the cities in which the film was shot: in Sherbrooke, Quebec, in its original French version, as the closing screening of the Semaine sherbrookoise des rencontres interculturelles, and in Brooks, in its original French version with English subtitles, at the Griffin Park Theatre.
