They came, they saw, and they left (their art)

Five trees were transformed into works of art representing the community of Burstall last week as part of the annual Fall Fair celebrations and fundraising events.

For more than 30 years Swift Current has been host to many interesting and accomplished authors.
Write Out Loud continues to be a popular tradition, another valuable thread in Swift Current’s rich cultural fabric. The 2017-18 season promises to be varied and entertaining.

Swift Current artist Tommy Kirk is using YouTube videos to share his passion for art and for paper sculpting with others.

A variety of artworks by southwest Saskatchewan artists are currently on display at the annual Southwest Open art exhibition in Swift Current. The exhibition in the West Wing Gallery opened July 28 and a public reception with a walk and talk tour by artists took place July 29.

Fans of the Renaissance rejoice as the Windy Castle Medieval Faire is coming to Picture Butte for a weekend of fun this July.

The Art Gallery of Swift Current is presenting a new summer art program for children between the ages of eight to 11 years in August.
The Summer Art Studio will take place from Aug. 14-17 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

On July 27th Blenders will be hosting a concert in conjunction with this summer's Music Camp.
