I get excited hearing people talk about their dreams. I see the sparkle in their eyes and the inflection and enthusiasm in their voices. Dreams invite eagerness, wonder and curiosity to pull us forward.

I am in Sherwood Park at a local yoga studio. Yoga mats are lined up against the walls and in rows throughout the room. The cork floor intrigues my fingers as I press my fingertips into the floor. People arrive with their yoga props, bolsters, pillows, blocks and blankets.

Spring awakening is a great cosmic adventure that supports us in our own emergence and expanding.

February is here and we have been inundated with commercials about love, falling in love, out of love, how to get love, what to buy for the one you love, and let’s not forget about the blitz of online dating ads inviting you to find your one true love.

Tips for how to create a 2016 to remember

January 1 is here. It is a new day. Quietly I sit in stillness and drink a cup of yummy dark coffee. No one is up. Even the streets outside are quiet and asleep. It appears like the whole world is awakening to this day of newness, hope and beginnings. I am ready.

The balance of dark and light and the time of light and shadow is upon us as Dec. 21 is Winter Solstice. 

It is early morning. Dark. The almost full moon is still in the sky.
