During recess at Oman Elementary School and also in Phys. Ed Class, I remember playing games, choosing teams, and picking sides. We are lining up. There are 2 classmates chosen as “captain”. They now have the power and responsibility to pick their teammates. My heart beats.

My Grade 3 teacher was wonderful. Her name was Miss Hill. She drove a little punchbug/ladybug like vehicle, wore swishy dresses with bright flowers, and gave us oodles of stickers and compliments.

I get excited hearing people talk about their dreams. I see the sparkle in their eyes and the inflection and enthusiasm in their voices. Dreams invite eagerness, wonder and curiosity to pull us forward.
I am in Sherwood Park at a local yoga studio. Yoga mats are lined up against the walls and in rows throughout the room. The cork floor intrigues my fingers as I press my fingertips into the floor. People arrive with their yoga props, bolsters, pillows, blocks and blankets.
