Cooking in colour

Twenty storeys above sea level, a Pacific sun sinks though clouds that caramelize into ribbons the colours of tropical fruit salad.

It seems everywhere I go these days, I can’t throw a ham hock without hitting one kindred or another.

I had an entirely other story in mind for this week. Something about how, everywhere I go this month, someone can be found lamenting, “Where did summer go?”

Some time ago, the blog hosting site Wordpress, launched Foodpress, and finally solved a recipe mystery that has eluded me for 10 years.

Dear Darcie,
I enjoy casual dining out from time to time, and when I try something I really like, I make a bold attempt to replicate that dish at home. One of these dishes is butter chicken curry.
