A Swift Current teenager has started a home-based business to express her creativity while she continues her battle against a rare medical condition.

The Swift Current SPCA Bookstore plays an important role in the fundraising efforts for the animal shelter, but without the support of volunteers it will be impossible to keep the store open.

Despite the fact that almost 80% of premature heart disease and stroke can be prevented through healthy behaviors,: heart disease is the leading cause of death among women and the second leading cause of death among men in Canada.

Because of the efforts of some generous zumba lovers, Southwest Youth Emergency Shelter got some needed help.
